Shuiyang Forest, often described as a "fallen heaven," was created as a result of a landslide dam following the 921 Earthquake in 1999. A forest of Cunninghamia was submerged, leading to the death of the trees and leaving behind a hauntingly beautiful landscape of white tree trunks.
